by far the best thing to come out of manchester in a while!!! they don't have this stupid urge to be like Oasis, like every other Manchester band does. The guitarist is unbelievable and is up there with the likes of Jonny Marr. What is even more amazing is that the drummer is Simon Wolstencroft (the fall 86-97) and also was school friends with Jonny Marr. They have only done 2 gigs in Manchester but they are already bigger than that. They have got a gig lined up supporting Domino Bones and also are set to support Ian Brown on his latest tour. The magical bit about Carpe Diem is even though they take influences from the stones, led zep etc and even though they try shy away from being like Oasis, there gigs have the same feeling as Oasis in 1994. Fuck Twisted Wheel, Fuck The Courteeners. These are the next Oasis if not bigger!!!
